MIL-B: Map and Imagery Laboratory Metadata (Bibliographic) Fields

The ADL Catalog mainly uses fields from MARC 21, a bibliographic-field standard created by the Library of Congress in the late 1960s (http://lcweb.loc.gov/marc/). These fields generally have the MARC 21 equivalent of 500, General Note.
The fields are divided up by general category. Within each category, fields are numeric, alphabetic order; as time goes by and more fields are added, the alphabetic-order sequence will probably not continue.
All coordinate values will be given in decimal degrees.
