The Map & Imagery Laboratory receives no funding for services to
persons not affiliated with the

Digital equipment
available for use:
PC with CD reader/burner, and DVD drives

Reservations
for 2- hour time slots must be made in advance (1-2 working days) to ensure
availability of equipment and staff.
I. Digital data available
for access: Software is excluded from reproduction.
- U.S.-depository and
non-copyrighted data files on CD/DVD: These may be checked by any user with a
library borrowing card, or the files may be downloaded by user to user’s
Library-approved external drive, or burned to user’s CD.

Scanning of previously unscanned aerial photographs held by the Map and Imagery
Laboratory, for which the Regents of the
Users may request scanning
of entire frames at 600ppi, 400ppi for large-format photos. Scanning of 1-9
frames will be completed within 2 business days of the request; time period
required for scanning of more than 9 frames will be negotiated on a
case-by-case basis. Users requiring higher resolution scans may hire Pacific
Western Aerial Surveys (805/963-0382) to scan air-photo frames. Scanned frames
will be downloaded to CD and mailed first-class mail; for quicker mailing,
users may supply their own UPS or FedEx charge numbers. All checks should be made out to: Regents of the University of

Cut-frame
photos: $18 (includes $10 use fee) for cut-frame photos smaller in any
dimension than 11 inches x 17 inches

Roll-film
photos: $21 (includes $10 use fee)

Oversize
cut-frame photos: $29 (includes $10 use fee) for cut-frame photos larger in any
dimension than 11 inches x 17 inches
